Lin and I have been sleeping on an organic mattress for the last 7 years but realized that our purchase was not the best. These mattresses are made in California with GOTS organic certified cotton and wool and GOLS organic certified latex-all sustainably sourced from farms they c0-own in India. They are free of polyurethane foams and off-gassing memory foams. You will notice that are zero aromas when you unbox your mattress! SUPPORT+ Moisture-Wicking

We do not feel like sleeping on clouds! LOL! We have learned that we need more support from a firmer mattress! And the Avocado mattress comes on the firmer side, which makes it perfect for those that are back or stomach sleepers. Side sleepers will do better with the pillow top option. This gem also sleeps cooler than memory foam, which is an added benefit for those that sleep hot. ( and we both sleep so hot) We placed it on our platform bed with wooden slats which gives it the perfect amount of flex.

Design

The coils in the Avocado are designed in such a way that reduces motion transfer (I never feel Lin turning in the middle of the night and he can be a bit of a fish out of water sometimes flipping right and left). The Avocado also provides good edge support. With our other mattress I always felt like I would roll off the bed if I laid too close to the edge.

Every Avocado mattress is made to order, and made by hand at that. You can see this level of detail in the hand-tufted rosettes, the upholstered side handles, and the sturdy stitching along the seams. It’s the most beautiful mattress we have ever laid eyes on!
