I never thought I would say this but after being in Santa Fe for almost 5 months now, it’s been surprisingly difficult for me to find quality along with consistency here when dining!! I tend to enjoy both and Anasazi Restaurant delivers every single time!
The Anasazi Restaurant, Bar & Lounge is inspired by Santa Fe’s rich cultural and culinary history. Menus showcase contemporary American cuisine inspired by local ingredients. Partnering with local farms and purveyors that provide guests with fresh, seasonal produce throughout the year. Chef Andre told me that this was a key factor in ensuring Anasazi used only the best products available.
The smallest room in the house can make the biggest design impact. You can go bold in powder rooms, that is you chance to break the continuity of a first floor’s décor and do something that surprises upon entry. A powder room is a great place in which to try out your riskiest design ideas, to use a bold wallpaper you’ve always wanted to try.
And this is what Lin and I decided to do in the first phase of the renovations, however ultimately he began to panic and had second thoughts about a statement wall covering!! Le sigh!
I found delicious NY Pizza here in Santa Fe y’all and it is legit!!!
One of the oldest theories about New York City pizza is that the city's tap water is responsible for its superior taste. Many Americans might not know that in the Big Apple, they're almost as proud of their water as they are of their pizza, and that the city has been adding fluoride to the water for more than 50 years. New York has been known to have “soft water” which may have some influence on the quality of bread, bagels, and you guessed it: pizza! The majority of the city's water comes from the Catskill or Delaware watersheds, where it is then transferred to the Hillview Reservoir for chemical treatment and pH balance.

New Mexico is called the Land of Enchantment, and for good reason,” says Chris Milligan. “All you have to do is look around for five minutes and you’ll understand why.” Known locally as the “Santa Fe Barman,” Milligan is a 20-year bar veteran currently working at Secreto Lounge, where the seasonal cocktail program captures the ethos of Santa Fe’s down-to-earth community. “Everything begins with food and drink in Santa Fe,” he says. “It’s embedded not only in our routines but in our culture. Whether it’s a concert on the plaza, Saturday at the farmer’s market or an annual event like New Mexico Cocktails & Culture, everyone comes out to celebrate.” I could not agree more Chris!!!
