Vodka Berry Spritz Featuring Steel Dust Vodka
Celebrating small wins lately by unplugging at a normal hour and doing the things that I love most ! Relaxing in the cool AC escaping the heat listening to my favorite albums with a nice refreshing Vodka Berry Spritz ( the berries are frozen in the ice cubes) in hand .
Steel Dust Vodka is made in Texas and distilled 6x for an impeccably smooth taste . This handcrafted vodka is also gluten free and 100% legendary just like this Smashing Pumpkins album. ( If you know GISH, you know )
If you’re reading this, you’re probably wondering what’s behind the name Steel Dust. Well, you’ve come to the right place.
(took this from their site because it’s just a special story)
Our story begins in 1843, when a horse named Steel Dust was born. Some say he was born in Kentucky, others say Illinois, but what all seem to agree on was that the horse was brought to Texas in his early youth. And once he’d found his home, he flourished. Steel Dust would develop into a champion racehorse, the likes of which the world had never seen.
At roughly 16-hands-high, this champion quarter-miler was said to be “so fast that his jockey coated the stallion’s back with molasses in order to stay on.” He was truly a sight to behold.
After his racing career was over, Steel Dust’s owners offered him up for stud. He went on to father many foals, all of whom shared his traits. As cowboys drove Longhorns up the trails from Texas through the Great Plains, the name Steel Dust would come to stand for the most sought-after pedigree among breeders and cowboys alike. These American Quarter Horses that carried the Steel Dust blood would achieve incredible fame, some say “every bit as magnificent as the mythical Pegasus.”
Steel Dust is one of the foundation sires of the modern-day American Quarter Horse, and a true legend in every sense.
Now, nearly two centuries later, we’re devoted to keeping Steel Dust’s name alive. Just like its namesake, our vodka is crafted to be truly legendary.
Saddle up, take a sip and LiveYourLegend.
How do you #LiveYourLegend this season?!
