OVERNIGHT SOAKED OATS FOR THE BUSIEST BABE
David Frenkiel & Louise Vindahl are so inspiring. I highly recommend their Green Kitchen Travels cook book where they share 90 beautiful recipes. (Perfect for you vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free lovers.)
Mornings for me are hectic but I also require breakfast so I love The Green Kitchen Travels Overnight Soaked Oats.
You can prepare these in the evening and place them in the fridge and as you are dreaming of Ryan Gosling, the liquid will be soaking the oats so they will be soft and perfect for you at sunrise!!
There a ton of different flavors but my personal fave is The Raw Cacao, Chia, & Banana! (great way to use bananas that often go bad pretty quickly).
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
1 tsp chia seeds
1tbsp raw cocoa or unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 mashed banana
3/4 cup almond milk
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all dry ingredients in a small glass jar. Add the mashed banana and work it into the oat mixture. Cover with the milk, stir to mix and close with a lid. Place in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
No excuses to not eat the most important meal of the day!
