Boozy Pumpkin Milkshake Featuring Heritage Distilling Brown Sugar Bourbon
Today’s recipe by Sarah from Broma Bakery had me literally sprinting for the grocery store, especially since I just received two bottles of delish brown sugar bourbon from Heritage Distilling ! Their bourbon is made from a Corn/Rye/Malted Barley mash. Barreled at less than 125 proof for <2 years in new American Oak Charred Barrels, then cut to 60 proof using their private crystal clear water source with natural Brown Sugar and Cinnamon flavors added. 30% ABV/60 Proof. Mmmmmm!
With Halloween approaching I wanted to create a really festive boozy milkshake for all of your Halloween parties!! Make it kid friendly too by omitting the Bourbon.
I made a few revisions to Sarah’s recipe making it my own!!
Boozy Pumpkin Milkshake Recipe

1/4 cup caramel butterscotch sauce, warmed
1/2 cup toasted graham cracker crumbs
1 pint vanilla ice cream
6 tablespoons pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons almond milk
1/4 cup bourbon
DIRECTIONS
Place the toasted graham cracker crumbs on a tea plate. Wet the rim of your serving glass by dipping it into the top of a glass of water, then dip the wet rim into the crumbs. Drizzle the warm caramel butterscotch sauce around the glass, being sure to drizzle up and down the sides of the glass. Set aside.
In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, milk, and bourbon. Blend on high speed until fully combined.
Pour into serving glasses. Serve immediately.
