Festive Printed Holiday Cards From Basic Invite

The holiday season has begun over here at Go French Yourself! I even started shopping and wrapping and have prepared my menus for Christmas Eve and Christmas. I cannot even believe it.

I am so excited. It’s truly my favorite times of the year – not just for obvious reasons like friends, family, food, cold weather, (so hopeful for snow) or any excuse for a fancy French soirée, but because there is sooooooo much to share with you. From my favorite entertaining secrets to what to wear to all of your holiday events, my annual gift guides for every single person on your list, giveaways and everything in between, it’s not a surprise that the holidays truly are the most magical time of the year. One of my absolute favorite things to do during the holiday – as you’ll see in today’s blog post – is my tradition of sending out personalized printed holiday cards to all of my friends and family. Sending a holiday card in the mail is one of my favorite ways to spread the holiday cheer . This year, I decided to create my cards with Basic Invite. They have so many adorable printed holiday cards, (over 250 Christmas card and holiday card designs actually) holiday party invitation templates, (you must see the Minty Leaves Foil Invite --it's so pretty) and even company Christmas party invitations. I really miss the party invitation that you open in the mail as opposed to the very unpersonalized face-book invite so I am using Basic Invite for my annual ladies holiday brunch party invites too. I personally love that I can do all of this with one company simplifying my life. I need all the help I can get during this busy time.

From vintage-inspired designs to luxurious letterpress, there are so many options to choose from. They have the most beautiful foil holiday cards right now too that are available in gold, silver, and rose gold. You can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs. It adds such a glam touch. My obsession for personalized paper goods and stationery runs deep. I am such a collector. And Basic Invite has such darling designs.

As dog lovers, we always think it's such a fun idea to share one of our favorite photos of our two spotted boys with our friends and family. We are long overdue for a photo shoot with the four of us but photographing dogs is no easy task--so we are completely fine with them being the leading roles in the holiday card. Lin actually prefers it. He hates photos of himself.

So how does the process begin with Basic Invite?!

Basic Invite offers a gorgeously curated collection of designs to choose from. You will instantly see that as you browse their selection. Each feels elevated and represents the elegance that Lin and I like to capture in everything we create. I personally love the classic look of Christmas and tend to really love red and gold and Lin appreciates that too but also loves a more muted card with vintage elements. You can really see those details in our home too--we love incorporating modern and vintage pieces to create a seamless look that feels very clean and airy but warm and lived-in too.

Basic Invite's design process allows you to upload your images immediately. You can play around with different fonts and colors too. In fact, Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options so you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail. This truly sets them apart from almost any other online stationery company. They also have over 40 different colors of envelopes to pick from. Basic Invite is just as colorful with their envelopes as we are with their invitations and cards. All of their envelopes are peel and seal too so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed without licking a single one. I just love that you can preview your designs so you can truly see what you’ll be sending – that way there are no surprises. I am not above a good surprise but in this situation, I love being in control.

Another thing I absolutely love about Basic Invite if their custom samples. Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so they can see exactly how it will print as well as feel the paper quality before they ever have to place their final order. And for a control freak like me, this was just the best. I ended up having 6 different cards printed and sent so I could really feel confident in my holiday card selection and I loved 5 of the 6 and thought I would make this a group effort and get my readers involved in helping us pick.

Here are the 5 printed holiday card options I would love your input on. Please tell me in the comments because we need to get our order in and we are letting you chose!! I will also be hosting some polls over on my insta stories today too so head over there when you get a chance after noon CST.

Basic Invite also offers an address capturing service that allows customers to simply share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other form of social media to request their friends and family’s addresses which will be stored in the customer’s account and can then be selected during the design process. Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all Christmas card orders. How fabulous is this????

With just a few weeks before we start sending our holiday cards; I am curious: how will you be sharing your holiday with your friends and family?! I’d love to hear all about it in the comments below. And don't forget to vote on the card you love best of mine. Please.

This post is sponsored by Basic Invite who is generously offering 30% off with coupon code: holi30 so you too can create the perfect printed holiday cards, company Christmas party invitations, and holiday party invitation templates.
