Galentine's Day- Showing Love And Gratitude

Valentine’s Day is arguably one of my favorite holidays of the year, and if you agree, it probably has little to do with a significant other, and more to do with a love of love in general — for your partner and your besties-even your sweet kitties and pups!!! If you think of February 14th as a day to celebrate all of that, it’s pretty hard to resist its charms, which is precisely why I look forward to hosting a little Galentine’s Day luncheon with plenty of dessert for my Francophile bestie Brooke.

I gifted her merci Chocolates this year to showcase my love and gratitude for our decade long friendship! I am finding it is so hard to make friends the older I get so I really want to cherish the friends that I have! Brooke has been such a rock to me not only in the bright times of my life but she has really shown up in the dark rough times and I am just really really grateful to have her by my side through it all. The thick and the thin…the sweet and the sour. She is someone I can count on no matter what.
