Getting Organized With Most Modest
Do you guys ever feel like there’s a bit of a shortage when it comes to modern gorgeous office supplies that absolutely do not break the bank? Of course, there are the classic lucite options, but if I’m going to spend eight (or nine, or ten…) hours a day at my desk, I wouldn’t mind the company of some interesting, functional, organizational accessories that are easy on the eyes too!
Insert Most Modest..a company I discovered via Design Milk one evening! Most Modest is a California based design studio, specializing in craft inspired technology goods. They pull from a deep interest in behavior, knowledge of new technology, and a passion for making things that bring us closer to each other and our physical environments. Think everyday objects with a twist: fun, charming, and designed with the user in mind. They are big believers in product research, sketching, 3-D modeling and rapid prototyping, we know the journey defines the destination.
The Most Modest team comes from a variety of design related backgrounds with one goal, to create functional and beautiful products that enrich peoples’ everyday lives.
I literally want every single thing from Most Modest!
But I started with the Elin Desk Caddy.
Toolbox-inspired, Elin is constructed of durable powder coated aluminum with integrated compartment dividers to provide the perfect storage space for items big and small. The solid wood handle provides an element of warmth and touch-ability.
Powder coated aluminum construction
Solid white oak handle
Available in 5 textured matte finished powder coat colors (mine is the linen)
Divided storage compartments for easy organization
Manufactured in Grand Haven, Michigan
Definitely need the Cody Desktop Organizer next for my organization mission!!! Cody is a minimal desktop organizer that combines pencil cup with a wood tray to keep clutter at bay. Its elemental design and five available color options create a fun alternative to boring desk accessories.
And then I have my eye on their Tess Planter next!! With its pleated side panels Tess can stand alone or nest together, creating living micro architecture and natural privacy barriers in open plan environments. Modular in application, but also in construction, Tess was thoughtfully developed to ship flat packed and easily assembled with no tools. (all praise hands for that because I am not good with tools..lol)
