Getting Organized With Safran Everyday
I cannot believe we have been in Santa Fe for a little over a month now! Things are starting to come together a little more every single day!!! The furniture backorders are driving us crazy if I am being honest and I am just so ready to be fully settled! Our house here does not quite feel like home yet and I just cannot wait for the day it feels like our cozy little haven.
We have gotten a few organization projects done that I am ready to show you today in partnership with Safran Everyday. They make some wonderful home organization solutions that are unfussy, modern, durable and affordable! Safran Everyday is focused on sustainability which we love! Each object they produce is made from recycled steel. They chose to work with steel intentionally (not only because they are based in the Steel City) because steel is an incredibly durable and lasting material. With a sweeping trend towards designed obsolescence and cheap materiality, they wanted to offer quality products that will outlast their competitors goods.
They design their products to be paired down and simple so they won’t go out of style with the next trend cycle and most of their products are created using a single continuous piece of steel that is cut then bent!
Eliminating welded connection points adds even more stability to their products, less moveable points and no vulnerable joints mean it’s extremely unlikely to break. They want to contribute high quality goods to the marketplace to cut back on disposable consumerism.They’re always looking for small steps that minimize environmental harm to the region and to the planet. They primarily use reused packing materials and work exclusively with manufacturers local to their region (Western PA) in order to make our carbon footprint as small as possible in their production process.
In 2022 they completed Monmade’s Green Leap product development program which helps educate, brainstorm with and connect resources to small businesses committed to environmentally friendly practices. They strive to find meaningful shifts away from business as usual, environmentally destructive operation methods and towards a more considered relationship with the planet.
MEET THE FOUNDERS MAIA AND KEEGAN
Maia received an MFA from State University of NY at New Paltz. She has been in numerous group and solo shows, and has taught jewelry making across the country since 2014. Safran Everyday is based in Pittsburgh, PA, where Maia lives with her partner Matt and the best dog in the world, Mochi.
Maia and Keegan met at Arrowmont School of Craft and became fast friends. Keegan joined Safran Everyday in 2020 to help with social media, branding and more. They had worked together from a distance for the first year and a half of their time together and have since been reunited and are now happily living in the same city, listening exclusively to Taylor Swift in the shared studio space.
Now for the products I picked!
The first thing I wanted to create with Safran Everyday’s Wall Mounted Multi Wall Hook (love the mustard color but you should see all the great colors they have for you to pick from) was an organized “Dog Walking Station.”
This desperately needed a solution! HA!
I wanted to create this in our garage so we can leash up quickly and head outside. This hook is just perfect for harnesses,leashes, and rain jackets and then I use a tote to hold poop bags, treats, and walking gear. This helps conceal essentials, while keeping things in a convenient location. I love that this mounted wall hook has matching screw cap covers or you can mix and match with their snap cap pack. It also comes with all the necessary hardware and mounting directions.
In the winter I will hang the digs warmer fleece coats using three additional Wall Hooks from Safran Everyday.

I also have the Nesting Catch and Keep Trays from Safran Everyday for our infamous “ junk drawer’ in the kitchen. They are just perfect for all the clutter. You get 4 trays in a variety of sizes. (Measures in sets of 4 at: 13x13, 12x4, 7.5x4, 3.5x3.5) I ended up using the largest one by my stove as a beautiful catch-all for my oils and vinegars!
I also used Safran’s Double Hooks and Hook Flips to create a fun “ Hat Wall’ for my hats. We have so very little closet space in this tiny place and I didn’t want my hats to have any damage. These sturdy hooks are made for active homes with lots to hang and are available in gorgeous stand out colors.

I could not resist their Small Jewelry Holders (with necklace row) too!! All though the wall I planned to hang these on won’t work so I am still playing around with these and I can come up with a solution, I will let you know! Or I may be doing a fun giveaway for one of you!!!! Ohhhh la la!
