It’s finally time to print out your ballots, roll out the red carpet, and sip on champagne like our friends in Hollywood. I am beyond excited for The Academy Awards this weekend….all though so late this year!

I have the perfect Oscar Party snacks that will guarantee your award for “Best Hostess” by inviting fellow Oscar fans to your place for a viewing party. So start practicing that acceptance speech!!

Black Tie Brie Bites

INGREDIENTS

1/4 c. black pitted olives

1 (7-oz) wheel brie

1/4 c. Dijon mustard

16 RITZ Crackers

DIRECTIONS

Make buttons: Slice about half of the olives into very thin strips then chop into very small squares.

Make bow ties: Use a pairing knife to cut very small triangles out of remaining olives.

Slice brie into 8 wedges, then cut each wedge in crosswise (to make a shorter wedge).

Spread mustard onto the cut side of each brie wedge then place on cracker. Use a toothpick to place olives on brie to decorate tuxedos.

Oscar Award Winning Popcorn

Ingredients:

1 cup of yellow corn kernels

3 tablespoons of ghee

2 tablespoon of kosher salt

2 cups of your favorite candy

1/2 cup of mini pretzels

Let the popcorn and melted ghee cool completely before mixing in your candy! And give it all a good toss! Super easy and so delicious.

CHOCOLATE COVERED POTATO CHIPS

INGREDIENTS

1 ½ cups chocolate chips milk, semi-sweet, dark is your choice

1 (15.25 ounce bag) bag ridge-cut potato chips

INSTRUCTIONS

Place chocolate chips in a heat resistant bowl and place over a pot of simmering water. (make sure the water doesn’t touch the bottom of the bowl)

Completely melt chocolate until smooth and begin dipping the chips, about ½ way.

Shake off any excess chocolate and place chips onto a baking sheet lined with wax paper.

Allow chocolate covered chips to dry completely before serving.

Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
