October is fast approaching and I am so looking forward to all my upcoming travel plans. I will be headed to Memphis working with Memphis Tourism and then hit Austin City Limits in Austin where I am then home for one short week before taking off to Maine where I will be traveling the the entire coast from Bangor to Boston. I am so excited to connect with some amazing and inspiring people on these journeys. And I really look forward to putting together some amazing travel diaries for you!
It has been nice being home all summer working on some home projects and really focusing on routines here-one being skin care.
My favorite parts of my skincare and bedtime routine occur in the evening. There's nothing more satisfying than giving your skin and mind all the love and TLC it needs after a stressful day. Below are some of my tried and tested gems that I really recommend for some overnight magic—some for the skin-some for the mind.

This trending beauty tool has been piquing my interest ever since I saw Courtney Kerr use it on the airplane and I’ve become quite fond of incorporating it into my nightly beauty routine. But for those of you who have had a similar reaction to mine upon hearing the phrase “jade roller,” today I’m covering what exactly this beauty tool does and why you should be using one…
