A few faves:
Lavender Shea Soap- This lavender soap was created for their founder's friend, Alan, who wanted a very simple bar of soap - "without any stuff in it". Osmia uses spinach powder and French green clay to give a soft green hue, but the bar is very smooth and untextured in your hands. The beautifully subtle lavender smell comes from organic, Bulgarian lavender and balsam of Peru. The amazing skin-softening effect comes from the combination of organic olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, and coconut milk. This bar is perfect for sensitive skin, young children, dry skin, and anyone else who wants a luxuriously simple bar of soap.

Spotless Blemish Oil- A surprisingly powerful blend of essential oils noticeably diminishes the appearance of blemishes, while evening primrose oil prevents over-drying and helps keep the top layer of skin cells healthy. Unlike most pimple solutions, this serum does not strip the skin of its oil, and does not leave blemishes flaky and crusty while healing.

Used early and often, our natural oil will act on blemishes even before they come to the surface fully, often preventing them from surfacing at all. Spotless Blemish Oil has a very pleasant, lemony scent (and no tea tree oil), making it a pleasure to use. Formerly known as Spot Treatment.
For: All skin types. For extremely sensitive skin, do a patch test on the inner arm first to check for any adverse reaction.
How: Apply to blemishes 3-5 times a day. Do not apply this serum to the entire face - only to pimples! Use this product as the last layer in your skin care routine, on top of all other products. (You don't want to apply it under another product that requires spreading, as it could get spread over the face that way.) Don't be fooled by its tiny size - this will last a long time.

THE OSMIA STORY
Dr. Sarah Villafranco spent a decade practicing medicine in the emergency room where she witnessed a broad spectrum of health issues—along with an unsettling trend of resistance to treating the root causes of disease. Not long after Sarah relocated from the East Coast to Carbondale, Colorado, her mother was diagnosed with cancer, and she was gone just over a year later. With two young daughters of her own, Sarah was mourning the loss of her mom, but newly inspired to create a unique and meaningful path in her own life. On a whim, she signed up for a local soap making class.
Almost instantly, she reconnected with her passion for science—the same passion that led her to study medicine. In the weeks and months that followed, Sarah learned more about the chemistry of making natural soap, and became enchanted by the artistry of form, color, and scent that could be woven into the process. As she began to research the ingredients people were using on their skin every single day, a bigger idea took shape.
In 2012, Sarah founded Osmia with one simple mission: to energize people to engage in their own wellness through skin health and sensory experience. Rather than putting out fires in the emergency department, Sarah now hopes to create sparks of joy that inspire meaningful change.
