Give me tacos or give me death!!

For some of the best tacos in Oklahoma City, then you need look no further than Revolución Taqueria & Cantina.

At 916 NW 6th in the up and coming SoSA neighborhood lies a quick and easy escape from your typical route.

The space is bright and buzzy with packed tables and a constant stream of people coming and going. And I love the energy of the space.

The menu is a dream.

Short, simple but hella good. You run the risk of becoming over-ordering or being left with serious food envy - and let's face it, no one wants food envy!

Though I sadly did get some serious food envy from the humongous bowl of ceviche I saw flying past me but Zoë is not a fan and I was not able to face it myself.

Food comes out all at once; in a flurry of colors, smells and excitement.

Tacos filled with Chicken al Carbon, Carne Asada, Beef Barbacoa, Pork Carnitas, and fish and shrimp, are here for your choosing.

But for me the Chicken Tinga (chipotle chicken, crema, cilantro, avocado) and the vegetarian tacos were calling my name and I am so glad they were ! OH em geee....soooooo dang delicious! Highly recommend the Cauliflower al Pastor which is cauliflower, pineapple, radish, cilantro and onion! And The Mexican Squash which has chayote, zucchini, grilled onions, and adobo verde!

Sides are all a la carte and I loved the Elotes. I mean how can you refuse chile-dusted corn on the cob with mayo, cotija, and lime??!

Share the Queso Fundido (queso Chihuahua & Monterey jack, house chorizo, pickled chile, flour tortillas) to start!

And get the churros for desert with warm chocolate sauce.

And of course get a nice cold Mexican beer!
