Sleepover At The Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel
I was a guest of The Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel.. All opinions and recommendations are my own.
Last weekend I surprised Lin with a little surprise trip to OKC for the night for his birthday!! It has been a REALLY stressful month for us and I knew it would be nice to just escape even if for only 24 hours. I was so delighted to partner with The Sheraton Oklahoma City Downtown Hotel and it ended up working out rather nicely because as much as we did not plan to spend too much time in the hotel, Lin actually came down with a horrible upset stomach virus. Ohhh our luck!! I tell ya…we are definitely being tested right now.
Anyway..so thankful for our suite with a full bedroom and living room and TWO full restrooms. I mean how perfect for a girls trip to a Thunder basketball game or concert. Every tried doing your hair and makeup with 3 other girls in one bathroom?!! This executive guest room also allows you access to The Club Lounge. Check it out here!
The rooms are well designed, spacious and furnishings have been well thought out.
Our bed faced the huge windows overlooking downtown and don’t get me started on how big and amazingly comfy the bed was! I could have just moved in! Gah-I wish my bed at home was this comfortable!
So much natural pretty light and luxe apothecary products too! Annnnd bathtubs!! Oui, please. I am so not a shower girl.
The Sheraton is located in such a great area of Oklahoma City. Offering a direct connection to the Cox Convention Center and is just steps from Bricktown's wealth of dining and entertainment opportunities. You can also enjoy visiting nearby attractions such as Chesapeake Energy Arena and Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. But truthfully you do not even need to leave the Sheraton property.
FOOD & DRINK
You will not go hungry - or thirsty !! Pinky promise!
In fact, you might not want to eat ever again after you leave because you will have eaten anything in your way during your stay. Where to begin?
Breakfast. Held at Block 23 in the hotel . The buffet is only $16 and has such a variety of offerings! We indulged in oatmeal and fresh fruit and delicious hot tea. You can also order something made-to-order from their menu too! I hear the waffle is to die for!! Block 23 is an ideal spot for a brief pause to soak up everything. It bathes in natural light thanks to it’s vast windows! And well they do #mixedprints like no other. Food is un-pretentious and good!
Be sure to stop by Library Coffee & Co. too! They have freshly brewed Starbucks coffee and some pastries. It’s nice and cozy and I love all the old books. I even found a bit of France.
For a pre or post dinner drink, head to The Aria Lounge—a place of snugness; a place to unwind. Enjoy craft cocktails, specialty burgers, and or inventive salads. I actually ordered the burger in (love room service in hotels when I travel) and ohhhh, I would order it again!
There is also The Patio Vibes (Seasonal) ! When the weather allows, you can join the Social Scene at the Sheraton Oklahoma City. Enjoy a nice cold beverage and one of the Patio Specials while in downtown.
See what I mean!!! The Sheraton has it all! They even have a great little gift shop on site where we found Lin some medicine for his tummy! And they even have an outdoor swimming pool! And a fitness center.
My verdict on The Sheraton?! A prime location, reasonably priced, heavenly beds and amenities!!! A perfect little spot to rest your weary feet after a day’s hearty exploration mission through Oklahoma City!!!! Also superb for just staying in and getting some well needed rest and relaxation!!!!!
