I’m endlessly inspired by hardworking passionate farmers and the foods they grow and how what they do makes our lives so much better in so many ways!! And that’s why I am such a fan of Local Farm OK. I first introduced you to them earlier this month in this post here.
So very impressed with all the abundant greens I have been receiving. And the veggies and fruits are just so fresh!
I’ve become increasingly focused on making our home a safe and nourishing environment in every aspect of life. And I am spending time looking at how our meals can become more plant-focused and nutritious without sacrificing an ounce of flavor. It all starts with (1) choosing the best seasonal produce (organic when possible), (2) looking for produce that’s not bruised or battered, (3) washing it right when you get home and (4) making sure it’s free of pesticides, pathogens, dirt and germs (thank you, Fruit + Veggie Wash!)

Customize your order by adding on additional items from the online, local store.

I personally love the variety bag with an every other week delivery. I really love this service for the following reasons:
Saves me time from grocery shopping.
Allows me to still shop locally without having to give up my Saturday mornings at The Farmer’s Market. I am such an introvert and honestly hate how social our market in Tulsa has become. You see everyone you know and I would just prefer not to.
Allows me to get outside of my rutt and come up with new recipes with fruits and veggies I may not pick on my own.
