I know! I know!! I know what you are thinking!! Samantha ruble is writing about pants?????

I NEVER WEAR pants. I hate jeans. I have not even owned jeans or pants until November 2019. I was in Houston and visited one of my favorite shops Kick Pleat. If you are ever in Houston please go there!!!!! They curate the most beautiful clothing and accessories from amazing designers. They introduced me to a pair of silk wide leg pants from Miranda Bennett!! I could not believe it!!! Lin bought them for me that day for an early Christmas present and I cannot even tell you how many times I have worn them.

I get the best of both worlds with this sophisticated gaucho pant! The billowy fabric (100% silk charmeuse) sways on the body like a skirt, but holds the practicality and comfort of a pant. The wide leg is just stunning (it’s ultra wide leg for a maxi skirt like effect) with a heel and the gathered elasticized waistband is a god send!!! I love a high waisted fit making my waist appear smaller so I love styling them with a fitted top. Oh and hello side slit pockets!!!!! Plus I can hand wash them at home!!

What with crazy virus the wide pant is just the thing to feel comfortable in no matter how much stress eating you find yourself indulging in. LOL!!!!

No but really—I am loving the whole casual, inspired-by-menswear feel and look while still wearing heels! And the silk really just dressed it up!!!

So I started stalking Miranda Bennett and was so impressed with them and everything they create! I had Jenna reach out about a partnership opportunity and here we are!!! They were so excited to hear I loved my purchase and sent me the Hepburn Pants in Rambler. A linchpin of their collection, with a textural suede-to-flannel hand and light body, that can easily be dressed up or down and worn season-to-season! The Rambler color is just so gorgeous for Spring!!! The pants are naturally dyed with plant based materials. I wore them for pretty much my whole San Fran trip. These look great with a cool platform sneaker too!!!!!!
