In high school, she received diligent instruction and guidance, and took Drawing and Painting as a major course. We are all almost to the finish line. We are getting ready to make it through Christmas, and New Year's is on the horizon. However, are you ready for the festivities of New Year's Eve?! They are such a special part of my daily life as I wear perfume everyday. And when I wear Skylar fragrances I cannot help nut put a smile on my face, even when the world around me seems to be falling apart. There is something about a good fragrance that makes me feel confident, positive, and beautiful. Yet there is also something about a good fragrance that makes me feel relaxed and/or recharged. A burst of fragrance just refreshes my body and mind.

Brutalist buildings are no nonsense spaces, fortress like structures that serve a practical post war purpose for social housing, industry, cultural centers and institutions. There is so much beauty in their boldness, the chunky slabs of concrete, the uncompromising and unpretentious raw material and the interesting shapes they take from different view points.

Lin can be tough to shop for so I was so happy to have discovered Blue Crow Media. Founded in 2009 by Derek Lamberton, Blue Crow Media is an independent publisher dedicated to creating thoughtfully designed and carefully curated city maps. Their publications began with a series of food and drink city maps and apps, and since 2015 they have published a series architecture and design guide maps. If you haven’t heard of An Affair Of The Heart, it’s a truly unique event that happens several times a year in Oklahoma and a few surrounding areas. And if you have been following me for a while, I featured some amazing gift items in a holiday gift guide for you to discover at the show in this post and also this post. An Affair Of The Heart brings together the creators of the world who have an especially strong sense of community, creativity, and soul, and all of the exhibitors I got to talk to were incredibly friendly and talented. While I was there I spotted some amazing entrepreneurs that I thought I’d share with you today of course with some emphasis on some of the vendors I have already included-but really tried to showcase new ones that I discovered! Present shopping. As much as I love it, at times it's a chore, especially for family members who have EVERYTHING and don’t need anything. I'm the type of person that likes to buy meaningful presents too. I really take great great pride in this! And I already have Mother’s Day and Father’s Day on the brain!
