I booked a trip to Maine this November traveling the coast from Acadia to Boston and I could not be more excited. Traveling Maine's rocky coastline surrounded with fall foliage has been on my bucket list for ages and ages. I just cannot wait to visit the quaint seaside towns along the way. I know that these Atlantic shores of this northeastern state have plenty to offer and I am ready to take it all in for two glorious weeks. Awe--give me all the chilly sea breezes and local seafood.

I knew I wanted to take some of Zelma Rose's pieces with me to explore coastal Maine so I was so excited when Lisa sent me two of her beautiful creations for all my New England seaside adventures.

I have already been getting a ton of use out of them (wearing them non stop on my travels to Carlton Landing and all my Route 66 day trips) as I am so inspired my all nautical things currently--anything that has a real coastal feel. Woven textures-navy's, blues crisp whites,--give me all the yacht club sophistication please but with a relaxed bohemian carefree style. Blending boho vibes with a nautical style is really easy to create. Play with bold stripes and mix with bohemian patterns. Use ocean colors even playing with green. Or even a pop of red for a real nautical feel. Wear preppy attire but relax the style. And incorporate earthy tones and pair them with crisp neutral colors like white!
