Happy October everyone!! It’s my favorite month and favorite season! Now if the weather would just follow suit.

I love that I have been able to be more choosy as to the products that I actually buy, use and recommend. I no longer feel that I’m compromising to use natural cosmetics; on the contrary, I’m actually finding that I prefer natural formulas and essential-oil-based fragrances more than conventional products. It seems that new chemical-free, paraben-free, toxin-free brands and products are popping up on the beauty scene almost every day, making it almost a no-brainer to begin to replace less-than-pure products with their simpler, cleaner counterparts.

I really believe that chemical-free beauty is more than a trend; I think that it’s the future. There’s really no reason anymore for women to have to choose between boring, crunch-ola hippie products and potentially harmful chemicals. While I’m by no means suggesting that you toss your entire beauty regimen and and replace everything with organic picks, I would encourage you to branch out a bit and get educated about formulas and ingredients the next time you’re searching for a new body cream or dry shampoo — you may find, like me, that you like your new, pure gems even better than your old ones.

I have been using the PRIMALLY PURE CHARCOAL DEODORANT!

Primally Pure natural deodorant contains a small amount of baking soda to combat odor and is fortified with kaolin clay (powerful detoxifier) and non-nano zinc oxide (soothes irritation). I typically cannot use anything with baking soda but because of the small amount I do not notice any irritation with this one!

I have also been using the DRY SHAMPOO (DARK LOCKS). They make one for light locks too! Their dry shampoo for dark hair contains more organic cocoa powder for seamless blending with all shades of brunette.

Kaolin clay and organic arrowroot powder absorb moisture while adding texture and volume.

I have also been using the EUCALYPTUS + LAVENDER BODY BUTTER! This calming + organic body butter only contains ingredients that are safe enough to eat – high quality ingredients that work to restore the skin to a healthy and nourished state.

Tallow from grass-fed cows (rich in Vitamins A, D, E and K, anti-inflammatory conjugated linoleic acid + antimicrobial palmitoleic acid) deeply moisturizes the skin.
