(refresh here. ) I had a little adventure at the berry farm with my sweet silver fox and my darling ZELMA ROSE Estero hand woven necklace designed by artist Lisa Anderson Shaffer. The beloved Estero Necklace takes a cue from the great yonder, inspired by the deep shades of desert flora across California. Big skies, miles to wander, and rich with color, the natural beauty and intrigue of our California deserts evoke a love for adventure.

Each Estero Necklace is hand woven in an original pattern of knots and weaves designed by Lisa to create a stand out necklace that is beautiful, durable, lightweight, and incredibly comfortable to wear. Beginning with over 525 inches of 100% cotton cord and hand woven off loom in a deeply textured pattern, the Estero Necklace stands out all on its own, as minimal, but memorable. And for years you saw it on me lots because it was and is STILL my favorite piece! I even added the gorgeous indigo color to my accessory closet because I am convinced a girl definitely needs the ESTERO in every color!

A note about heritage leather.

This leather is different from the 2020 leather collection. Lisa was able to source a hand dyed matte leather cord, made right here in the USA. It has a soft, matte finish and beautiful drape. Like all fine leather, it might feel a bit stiff at first, but after a few wears will soften like your favorite boots. (Because of the hand dyed nature of this leather, please initially wear with like colors. )

Not mad about that at all….I am living for monochrome moments right now in fashion! Nothing beats a good black on black!

I love the antique brass settings and clasp (lead & nickel free) . They just add so much detail. Lisa thinks of every single thing when creating her art and that’s what really stands out to me about her!
