 Pillivuyt Brasserie Dinnerware Collection

I like to keep it easy when it comes to selecting tableware. I buy timeless pieces that I love that also sit well together and make it easy to mix and match. I generally let the occasion, company and the menu guide me when I set the table, but you can’t go wrong with The Pillivuyt Brasserie Dinnerware Collection, especially when you love throwing French dinner parties!

It is one of Pillivuyt's most recognized patterns. Created in the 1920's for restaurants and cafes' who wished to have their menus on their dinnerware, this design is printed on a decal and then applied by hand. After the decal is applied, the piece is fired for a third time and the design is baked into the glaze.

The Brasserie collection of dinnerware and cookware by Pillvuyt features sidewalk cafes, Parisian nights, and hints of Hemingway's Moveable Feast.

That’s right, no sweet-and-sour or triple sec in this blend, my friends – and it really makes all the difference.
Tequila Zarpado is handcrafted from 100% mature Blue Agave grown in Los Valles of Jalisco. This Tequila is double-distilled and made in small batches at a family-owned distillery. Their process fuses tradition with the family's own methods to produce Tequila that is rich and elegant.

Filleting and grilling a whole fish can seem intimidating, but it’s actually quite simple to do! While testing this delicious Yellowtail Recipe I couldn’t find snapper fillets, but I could find whole snappers.

No problem—filleting a snapper (or any other similar fish) is easy if you follow these steps.

Just be sure to use your sharpest knife, whether it’s a fillet knife or a chef’s knife. I highly recommend the Opinel FORGED 1890 7" FILLET KNIFE for all of your fish recipes.

Baked Pork Tenderloin With A French Country Salad Featuring Opinel

This garlic baked pork tenderloin with italian seasonings and a nice French country salad is one of my favorite summertime dinners! First off, everyone loves pork tenderloin, and this one has just enough interesting and surprising flavors to make it feel dinner party-worthy. I roast mine in the oven but this is a recipe you can throw on the grill too! Pork tenderloin is one of those cuts of meat that is made for serving a crowd too so you could easily scale this recipe up (buy a larger tenderloin) depending on your guest count, then slice it up and arrange on a big gorgeous family-style platter.

French Rosé Season

About last night

Rodge joined me for a wine tasting with The Alliance Française de Chicago and that was a very nice surprise . He was very sweet and romantic and it was everything I needed! ( decade long relationships need sparks my dears)

Turns out Rodge loves Tavels and I love Bordeaux when it comes to French Rosè wines! But after learning more I need to get my hands on a really good Savoie . I think the Savoie is going to be the very Rosè that was made for Sam!

Bastille Day is soon approaching, and even if you're not in France, all you lovely Francophiles can still party like it's 1789.
