An Affair Of The Heart 2018: My Recap!

As soon as I returned from Boston I was so happy to kickstart the holidays at An Affair Of The Heart in Tulsa. If you haven’t heard of An Affair Of The Heart, it’s a truly unique event that happens several times a year in Oklahoma and a few surrounding areas. And if you have been following me for a while, I featured ten amazing gift items in a holiday gift guide for you to discover at the show in this post and also this post. An Affair Of The Heart brings together the creators of the world who have an especially strong sense of community, creativity, and soul, and all of the exhibitors I got to talk to were incredibly friendly and talented. While I was there I spotted some amazing entrepreneurs that I thought I’d share with you today of course with huge emphasis on the ten I have already included! Do you dream of a place called home? Do you long for someplace, somewhere out there? Do you picture yourself on a lush, tropical island, on a quaint city street in San Francisco, in a hip ski town, or on a green hill top in the Mediterranean ? For a long while now, I’ve been telling myself that I need to move; that Tulsa is too small, too conservative, too . . . familiar for me. I feel so isolated and limited here...like I am slowly slowly suffocating. The man of my dreams STILL has this invitation for me to move to Barcelona. And I am dragging my feet you all. Who drags their feet for an opportunity like this? What am I so scared of???

The holiday season has begun over here at Go French Yourself! I even started shopping and wrapping and have prepared my menus for Christmas Eve and Christmas. I cannot even believe it.

I am so excited. It’s truly my favorite times of the year – not just for obvious reasons like friends, family, food, cold weather, (so hopeful for snow) or any excuse for a fancy French soirée, but because there is sooooooo much to share with you.
