I had always been so intimidated with the thought of pilates and now I am just kicking myself because I wish I had been doing it my whole life. I received the most amazing recipe book for Christmas called Superfoods and I have been so impressed with everything I have made thus far.

Breakfast is such a hard one for me so I tend to look for easy simple things that keep me full for the day but not too stuffed for my afternoon pilate workout.

The first recipe I want to share from the book is the Creamy Oatmeal With Blackberries. Oats are a complex carbohydrate which my body actually needs (read all about my DNA test results in this post) .Complex carbohydrates provide slow-release energy to keep you sustained throughout the morning.

New Year. New Vanity Area/Office Space

After redoing our entire living room area, (and OMG-I cannot wait to share the big reveal with you soon) I knew that the next phase was to begin the redesign of my vanity area/office space.

I wanted my office to feel luxurious and accessible--but still modern and minimal. I wanted my space to inspire my work and vice versa. Whether I’m preparing for a major photo shoot, packing for my next travel adventure on the road, or building out my editorial calendar and spending an afternoon swimming in emails, and writing--- I feel so productive and at ease when I’m here. The light is gorgeous and I love the downtown views here.

Making Travel Memories Last Forever With Framebridge

We have a lot of blank space on the walls and are currently sprucing the condo up for various shoots so I recently decided that it would be fun to spruce up our guest room with a travel theme –- using our favorite photos from the places that have really grabbed our hearts. I started with two photos as a surprise for Lin. He is a little harder to convince that these blank walls need to not be forever empty.
