When I first spotted Haus on gram it was a love at first moment! The packaging is drop dead gorge! And as I read more about the company and Apéritif Culture I became immediately obsessed. I knew I had to experience them. So I reached out and was so very happy they wanted to partner with Go French Yourself!

TASTE OF THE HOLIDAYS WITH REASOR'S- EASY THANKSGIVING RECIPES FOR TWO

Small is the new big this Thanksgiving, and making a tiny meal can be just as beautiful and festive! And it’s a whole lot easier and stress-free though. Oh em gee…….and not as much cleaning up. Yes, please. I don’t know about you, but I personally am looking to eliminate stress this holiday season. The whole year has been stressful enough.

Lin and I have spent a decade traveling to Houston to see his family over Thanksgiving and now that we are doing what we can do to flatten this curve, we are staying here in Tulsa this year with our sweet pups. Incase you have not seen the current guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rate small Thanksgiving dinners confined to members of your household as the lowest-risk way to celebrate the holiday. And I hope I can encourage you too to do your part in all this!

So I have a huge confession! Traditional Thanksgiving food is actually not my favorite

Easy Dia De Los Muertos Recipes

Cooking up some tasty family recipes for #DiaDeLosMuertos this year! The #DayOfTheDead is a Mexican holiday in which loved ones that have passed away are remembered, honored and celebrated. A very important part of this holiday which is celebrated in many Latin American countries is the significance and importance of food.

I love making my abuelita's Mole Chicken Enchiladas. Mole negro is a complexly flavored, dark-as-night, chile-and-chocolate sauce. (spicy and sweet) We serve this with spicy jalapeño black beans and lots of delish guacamole! You cannot forget the sugar skull cookies either. Cooking this wonderful feast brings back the best memories for me with my family in El Paso. It was such a special time to remember those that have passed on and honor them with offerings of sugar skulls, marigolds and an assortment of foods. And of course it looks so different this year not being able to attend the celebrations but it was important that I carry on the tradition this year!

Halloween Decorating Ideas For A Modern Condo

We skipped over the fall decorating this year and went straight to Halloween home decor! Fall is my everything—the beginning of the holiday season where everything feels just a little bit more magical and joyous. This year I felt a desire to start decorating for Halloween earlier than usual, and went for it. Why not given the crazy year we’ve all endured?! Halloween makes me so ridiculously happy.

Plus the fact that I am a blogger too.. I wanted to decorate early to photograph, edit, post/publish weeks before anyone else is shopping for home decor to help you guys out too! And I am even now still running behind so I promise next year to have this Halloween guide out to you end September! So appreciative to those who reached out on Instagram though asking for links to shop! I am always willing to share those so slide into my D.M’s anytime.

I am putting up my Christmas decor November 1st so be on the lookout for that shopping guide as well…first time ever to do it so soon!

Movie Nights In With Pop On The Block- Fun Date Night Idea

INTRODUCING OUR FALL/ WINTER MOVIE JAR

So we are devoting movie nights to an actor or actress we pull out of the jar! Each time we will embrace an older movie or maybe an older new-to-us movie that the chosen actor or actress plays in! (or maybe it’s brand new-just released)

For our jar, we put all our favorites in so we ended up with a huge variety. Lin created his. I created mine. Then once we draw a name…let’s say Ethan Hawke (my lord..I love a young Ethan Hawke so much ) is drawn , then we do a search on apple tv of his name and all of the movies he ever played in pop up and we pick one together as a couple!!!! So we still can talk and decide as a pair but we at least have a starting point!
